"We had our niece staying with us from Australia, looking for somewhere open on a Monday night, said she'd like to try an Indian in this country. Our regular curry house doesn't open on a Monday, so after searching reviews, we decided to try here, and we're glad we did. Service was friendly and excellent from start to finish. All food was served in good time and was really flavoursome. Apparently, poppadoms are not served in Melbourne, and the condiments tray had 6 or 7 items, went down very well. A great meal out, enjoyed by everyone. You must try a naan, wife said best she'd ever had."

"Amazing! I’d heard about little Lanka online and wanted to try it, we were not disappointed. I went with my brother and son about 8:30 on Sunday, it wasn’t overly busy. Not having eaten Sri Lankan food we didn’t know what to order. The manager was excellent and extremely helpful, we asked him to choose three dishes for us. I can’t remember the names now but all were amazing, tasty and plenty of it. We also ordered lees chips, which we didn’t need as there was a huge amount of food. Will definitely return"

"Its such a shame to be writing this as we have visited this restaurant many times over the years…. However, we will not be returning. Although the food was lovely, our issue comes with their menu changes and the service charge they bang onto the bill. A year ago you received your main meal with a side of salad and rice or bread. The prices and portion sizes were reasonable. However, after visiting last week for a mid week meal, we discovered that your main meal now comes with nothing else. Nothing. I ordered a mixed kebab and I got 2 skewers on a plate. A smaller portion of rice that used to be included with the meal is now an extra £4!! So after ordering a couple of side dishes each to make our main course into a meal, all of a sudden your main meal is over £20. Which is expensive for what you get. On top of this, when the bill arrived, they have now introduced a 10% service charge. I understand restaurants may not be making as much money as they used to, but pulling little tricks like this will see your customers disappear due to greed! The restaurant is not as busy as what it used to be, and after eating here last week I now know why."
