"We stumbled over rapps cafe while we were on a family trip to saltburn. the staff was very friendly and helpful, and eating was amazing. my daughter described her pasta as the best she had could not be better! also our eating was excellent and the desserts were amazing! good coffee to finish. good value and a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. highly recommended!"

"This is a lovely little place, we had a one night stay in the lodge with private hot tub and breakfast included, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, food is great too. Highly recommended and I'm sure we'll be returning again "

"Staff member 'Matty John ', went above and beyond in our experience to the restaurant with my 14 year old daughter, her friend and my 3 year old son. When my son was falling backwards on the chair he were sat on, the staff member now known as Matty, caught my son in a split second as he took to the floor, along with my son, with a fraction of an inch to spare, between the floor and my sons head. He swiftly and gently placed his hand behind my sons head, as his other hand grabbed the chair arm. You would have had to have seen it to believe how fast and gentle he was in catching him, and guiding him to the the rightful position. He did this like it was second nature, and did not expect even a thank you. I could not thank him enough, and would love it if he got the recognition that he deserves. I also find my vegan diet is very professionally catered to, to a high standard in a respectful way. Now I know me and my children can carry on with our regular treat meal here, knowing we are in safe hands."

"We went here last night for a good old parmo! I love going here. Parmo cooked to perfection with salad and home cooked chips, smothered in garlic sauce. No room for pudding but hopefully next time. "Ordered 2 grilled cheese on arrival as the menu was super small and some items not available. Grilled cheese was the worst. Used completely wrong type of cheese (mature cheddar) and half wasn’t even melted. Told the staff when I was getting the bill but...they didn’t seem interested. Another Instagram cafe. Looks good on the pics but in reality it’s garbage."

"What a find! Had the goats cheese salad and can honestly say it's the nicest I've ever had! Husband said the pulled pork loaded fries were top notch too. Will definitely be returning here to try the rest of the menu if these were anything to go by!"

"First visit to Real Meals cafe and deli in Saltburn. Intended having a scone and a coffee but the specials board distracted us! We had the haddock and crab chowder which was absolutely delicious, followed by a coffee and cake. Lorna and the team were so friendly and we noted that they all seemed to take great pride in offering high quality food and excellent customer service. We will definitely return when we next visit Saltburn."
