"Was only for my daughter birthday meal and what a fantastic place to eat. my fillet steak melted in the mouth, although I asked to do it well, only goes to show it can be well made and perfectly cooked and not hard! many special offers on especially the Monday offer really fantastic value for money and the personal was pleasant and very helpful. defo is coming back. highly recommended"

"The food here is fantastic. The mixed grill was perfect . Steak was cook to perfection, gammon with 2 eggs, chicken, pork chop, sausage and burger with all the trimmings you would expect and a Yorkshire pudding too! A little more expensive than some mixed grills but based on what came on the plate and the quality, it was worth it. Staff were friendly and a nice out of town location."

"The food was good as you can see. I did ask for a change with mine due to an allergy this was not listened too and was even told that it was fine! When it was given without items that i am allergic too, it was lovely I had a sandwich. The place was packed and the staff were run off their feet but when they came to the table they were lovely. It was a little chilly so many kept their coats on. I would return again but in the summer Price per person: £40–50"

"Visited last week with family. We all had the Christmas dinner menu which was very good. The food was freshly prepared, hot and nicely presented with a good choice. Lovely crispy hot roast potatoes which is always a sign of a good meal . Nice relaxed atmisphere in the newly refurbished restaurant. Every year we visit for a pre Christmas lunch and every year ask for bread sauce with the turkey but always told the chef does not do bread sauce. I keep hoping that one year this will be available and then I will give my review a five star rating."
