"Visited this place for dinner on January 1. There were very few places open on January 1 and we wanted to have chinese food for a change. The food was good, not great but it was good and I would say good value for money.My biggest complain was the service. As its January 1, I guess the owner decided to be thrifty and not have their regular staff come in for work. The night was busy customer wise and they have a lot of trainees as service crew instead of their usual crew. Hence the result was very slow service and mistakes and confusions."

"This is a very well presented restaurant and the food was very good especially so since so many competitors hardly bother providing good service these days.The place is very nicely appointed and adjoins a quality hotel with which they are associated, my guess is that visitors would have a hard time doing better anywhere in the city.Ambiance was great, service excellent, it was a homely environment, it would have been nice to speak with the young Itaiian guy running the place, but he was unavailable at the time; as an expat one sometimes likes to meet other foreigners.This place is tucked away behind a petrol station, so you could miss it, but don't go and enjoy the good food at reasonable prices."

"We ended up having a late lunch at Ala Fiesta since our usual Hapag Kainan venue had their a/c rooms booked. We were not disappointed.We ordered the set menu consisting of crispy pata (pork knuckles with the extra crunch), beef kare-kare & fried chicken. Extras of grilled squid and ensaladang mangga were also ordered. Absolute bliss!! I usually do not order fried chicken (since you can practically order this dish everywhere) but please, try their unique blend. Simple yet tasty.Dining was supremely satisfying since the a/c was very comfortable. Service was a 10++. You did not need to ask the waiter to refill your iced teas or water glasses.Parking was also very convenient."
