"My and my girlfriend had a whole Piri chicken, a bowl of soup each, chips, tomato salad, a half bottle of rose and a can of beer. The chicken was some of the best Piri Piri chicken I've ever had. Absolutely outstanding. The soup was great and the sides were apot on. And all of that came to less than €20. Insane value for a mid week dinner during our holiday. Will definitely be back."

"Great. I ended up having brunch here twice — the view is stunning and the poached eggs are a delight to munch on while overlooking the marina port of Lagos. The poached eggs were lovely, served on soft buns topped with sautéed spinach. Much in love with those, seen the other dishes they serve and those look great. Service is great, people are friendly and helpful."

"We stayed at Villa Doris Apartments in Praia da Dona Ana and instead of going back to the city, we decided to stay “local” for dinner. Had a few options nearby and chose the Onda Norte on TripAdvisor reviews really. I'm glad we did it when the food was really great! We had the Portuguese steak and the Ribs and both meals were excellent. The staff was really friendly, we were offered a free port to finish the night and total bill was about 40 € that our beer and Sangria with dinner. Great value we think as we have probably paid almost €80 for similar, though at more chic locations. If you are staying close to Dona Ana or even in the city, we recommend the Onda Norte for a delicious, price-quality meal."

"What an incredible place. What a superb menu and how brilliant that this restaurant caters for vegans. The mushroom cappuccino was simply out of this world I've never tasted anything like it. And the wine...incredibly, served by some of the most lovely staff I've...ever met. Will definitely be back."
