"Steak and egg with salad and fries is a cheap eat but more than enough food for a great price. Bife on a stone is amazingly good. We have been eating here for over twenty-five years and it never disappoints. Their house special is a wonderful dessert. Lovely family owned restaurant."

"Superb three course meal! Had a great culinary experience in Verdure with my husband. The place is new so there were hardly any reviews but as the pictures of portions here in Tripadvisor were very appealing not the typical large portions of meat fish with fries , we decided to take a chance and were super happy that we did! We shared excellent local oysters and had calmari quial eggs for starters, and swordfish steak for main which were amazing! For dessert parsnip ! creme brule pavlova with blue cheese dressing ! worked so well with muscatel port. We were the only customers on pre-season a Tuesday night so everything came really fast and the owner was very friendly and recommended excellent wines with our meal. The place itself looked quite plain but the food service were very far from it. Strong recommendation!"
