"Mrs. Sandra is the funniest person that you can find in Barraca Q'abana! She is the owner and a very impressive hard worker. Barraca Q'abana is famous on the island for its kebabs, friendly and relaxes environment. Their meals are a very cheap, delicious and an excelent choice for who are looking for a quick and easy meal. If you are looking for a funny place to eat with a direct view of the ocean, starts and cascades, this is definitely the place!!!"

"Best polvo I’ve had out of all the islands (and trust me I’ve had a lot) Not many guest end of September, no reservation needed for lunch on a Saturday"

"Great spot with views of the ocean and sunset. The food was amazing each time I went (thrice for me) some of the best beef I've ever had, fresh fish, and an amazing octopus dish! Owner/chef is really open and welcoming as was the staff. Not a big place, so I'd recommend scoring a reservation. Go, you will not be disappointed!"

"Very slow service, the waitress was on her own for much of the time. The first course cheese olives and bread finally arrived after a bottle of white wine had gone. We had 3 jugs of water(4 diners)The last piece of bread was mouldy and stale.The main courses came about 40 minutes later, mine was 2 skewers of prawns (just warm) chips that were soggy and cold and a some lettuce and cucumber. I complained about the chips and was told it was the Flores potatoes that do not make good chips???? I was offered rice I accepted but I had 2 prawns by the time it arrived.My husbands grilled chicken was dry and over cooked.Our friends had a mixed (over cooked) grill.The owner needs to get a cook who can do the job, a waitress (or 3) who is pleasant tocustomers. It seemed to me that the restaurant relied on it's position by the sea with good views and the quality of the food didn't seem to matter.I would not recommend this place to anybody."
