"From start to finish an excellent experience. A small but impeccable dining room offers the most refined dining experience in St Martin. The cooking here easily surpasses several Michelin starred restaurants we have visited recently and I'm sure the guide must surely be thinking awarding one here. What we liked was a respect for the ingredients. Top produce with seasonality in mind and then cooked to perfection with a restraint not to add unnecessary garnishes.We also shared a bottle of the hotel's own wine Chateau Clarisse Vielle Vignes 2015 which is new Chateau to me. What a lovely bottle. Already drinking superbly I can say quality to price ratio it is somewhat of a bargain. Until next year!"

"The map seemed interesting, the reception was kind. When taking the order, a break on a dish that was still on the map in front of this restaurant (it was simply enough to delete it). We command an aperitif that is served warm with. nothing, not even a small snack the seafood tray is served, nothing to say, but the oyster plates are at room temperature: damage! as to the dishes: fish (very small portion) accompanied by half small potatoes that dip in the oil, all served in cold plates. and bread, yes bread: half fine slice per person, we had to claim it again! the wine, (the white doveard) recommended by the waitress as being the wine that makes the burgundy jealousy, you must forget so much it is any and sold at an exorbitant price for a poor quality!!! finally arrives the almost end of the meal with the dessert. Well, no, there will be no dessert: we were simply forgotten (we were at the end of the terrace). the customers of the nearby tables are also left on their hunger. the manager speaks a lot, walks a lot (always empty hands), the waitresses seem to be delivered to themselves, in short, the lack of professionalism is blatant at the peasant inn of the sea.As for the addition, the manager gives us the total amount with a calculator in the hand, but without cash tickets: normal, here you are not in a restaurant but in a hostel!!! surprising, right?"
