"The restaurant had been recommended by a friend. We were in the area and decided to visit for lunch on a weekday. We chose the menu of the day and were very pleased with the food, the wine and the service. The starter and dessert presented an assortment of "samples" of dishes available a la carte. The main course was chicken, very well presented and cooked. Wine is not available by carafe but reasonably priced bottles are available - also a number in 50cl. We shall certainly return with friends for an evening meal. My only criticism is that the dining room is rather noisy - there is little to dampen the sounds of other guests!"

"We spent the first week of February a superb stay full of pleasant surprises! the site, the very relaxing environment, a very complete range of walks ranging from castles to bastides, passing through very pretty local produce markets and a visit to the Prunille prune factory. The icing on the cake is a very very good welcome from the hosts of a kindness to emphasize, so we strongly recommend this cottage. We will come back to it as soon as possible."

"A découvrir !!! Cuisine excellente et raffinée, des plats avec des saveurs que l'on ne voit pas ailleurs... Original, en pensant par des entrées avec un serano délicieux, un saumon fumé maison, à suivre un lapin cuisiné aux épices douces, des tagliatelles à l'encre avec saumon, espadon et saint Jacques, des desserts faits maison (Bavarois aux fruits rouges, tartelettes au citron, etc...) Je recommande vivement, à quelques kilomètres de Villeneuve sur lot, ça vaut le détour... En plus, le cadre est magnifique, face au golf, calme et serein. De plus, à souligner un super accueil. Petite parenthèse, à tester pour les amateurs de rosé : le maravenne !!!"
