"I had carne estufada com batata frita e salata and my wife lombinhos de porco with the same lines. the food and the service were very good. the only negatiw were the toilets. the floor was wet and dirty. other than that, great little place."

"Excellent service and lovely staff, really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Did a lot of little extras as well, like cutting up the meat for the kids, bringing over fun napkins and cups for the kids, bringing over an extra portion of chips. Clearly a local favourite, quite busy. Food took a wee while to arrive. Menu is fairly typical,. A range of meat and fish dishes, all well cooked and nice to eat. Big portions. Two adults and three kids (kids sharing an adult portion) came to just over 30 Euros. Well worth it."

"I LOVE the food here!!! This place is fantastic to come to for a cheap informal meal. The decor is really nice, clean and modern and the bathrooms are also really lovely, very clean and modern. There is a really friendly, informal atmosphere. The food and the service is fantastic. We’ve eaten here 4 times now in two weeks! The first time we had chicken, it was a bit salty but really fresh and delicious. The second and third time my husband had steak and I had pork kebabs. This was really really good!!! The last time we came, last night, we both had steak and French fries. My husband had his in a creamy mushroom sauce and mine was in a creamy peppercorn sauce. Sooooo soooo good!!! Like most places in Portugal you are really well fed and watered for a very reasonable price. When you arrive you’ll always get a basket of delicious fresh bread, hummus and olives. Mains come with salad and either crisps or chips and sometimes rice and grains as well. We’ve had our dinners with two large beers (pints off a tap) and it’s come to about €18 a head. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Also it’s always open! Unlike a lot of places we’ve visited."
