"You know that a restaurant is well managed when it comes to a tour group of 27 people late for lunch. Le Cheval Rouge did it very well. I was part of a group that spent a day in the Pierre de Bresse/Louhans region and we was... late for a 12.30 lunch. But without destroying an eyelid, the restaurant was more than obligated if we appeared almost an hour too late for a pre-ordered lunch (entrée terrine or escargots, main fish or poulet de Bresse, cheese and desserts). Our group warmly endorsed when the young cook came out to see if everything was okay. The staff was attentive and committed and the food was excellent."
