"My wife and I celebrated my birthday on a Friday evening in October with a wonderful dinner at La Bruceliere. It was perfect! Great service, great atmosphere, and of course, fantastic food and wine! The best entrée I have ever had: L 'oreiller d 'ecrevisses et champions, émulsion crustacés ! Don 't miss this place if you are exploring the Dordogne!"

"We had a very nice time with friends. The manager and chef is very welcoming and attentive. Copious plates with that local and seasonal products have delighted our taste buds with a good price ratio. "Our first in this hostel with 3 guests. Excellent welcome by a lady for whom it is the first day. Then comes a very young woman who takes our order. Unfortunately she hasn't learned to smile, yet it's so much more pleasant. We order 2 vegetarian risottos and a piece of beef. The piece of beef is excellent, the accompaniment too, potatoes and zucchini. But the risotto has little taste, reminiscent of rice pudding warmed with cream. We then order desserts, a frozen parfait and a Breton cake-style biscuit with lemon ice cream. The 2 desserts, on delivery, are very cold. The biscuit, certainly not of the day, has a very pronounced taste of yeast and is simply not good, nothing like a Breton cake after all! The coffees that we take, too, are not very tasty. In short, it's a very nice place, but the building does not make the restaurant which is not up to standard, both for its cuisine and for its welcome. You see for us, the reception is as important as the kitchen, there and well, nothing. If the welcome had been friendly and smiling, we would probably have been satisfied all the same. Smile."
