What User doesn't like about Turtle Bay Gogo Sushi: We ordered two tuna shells as takeout. Very disappointing. There was a very thin layer of rice, which must be a whole head of diced iceberg salad, green and red pepper, cucumber and a very small amount of soil looking fish, with some skin on it. There was no ginger or wasabi. Pretty much a very expensive tasteless salad with some rice and fish. It won't be ordered again. read more.

"My wife and I were returning home to Vernon from Kelowna. It was around 4:00 and one of us suggested L'lsola Bella for a nice, easy dinner on the way home. We arrived early and were the only two in the place initially. We ordered a 1/2 carafe of house wine, then relaxed and looked at the menu. My wife ordered spaghetti and Meat balls, and I ordered the Gnocchi. We've been to this place at least three times and I always order the Gnocchi, because I like it, and they have it on the menu. Our salad arrived first. It was simple, but good. The dressing in our opinion is awesome. Good enough that we bought a container to take home. Our meals arrived in a timely fashion after the salad. The presentation was fine. I took my first bite of the Gnocchi and it was like a hard little flour ball. I tried a couple more and they were the same. I called the waitress and told her. She promptly took it back to the kitchen. She came back shortly, and said that they were having issues with the Gnocchi order that day. Really??? She suggested something else, and I took the first thing she showed me. By the time my meal came, my wife was almost finished her dish. So now I'm eating this by myself. The second try at my meal was good, but eating separately when you go out somewhere for a nice dinner is not my idea of the experience we expect. We can do much better at home and not have to pay for it. Anyway, what I want to say here is the least they could have done is comped my meal. It still wouldn't have made any difference to us not eating together, but it would have been a nice gesture on their part since they screwed up. I don't believe the Gnocchi was a bad batch. I would think that it was put in the microwave to heat up and it was overdone; hence the hardness. I'm usually not a whiner, and I've never written a review of any kind. I feel different about this however. We've been to this place before and enjoy the relaxed vibe, good food, and decent prices. Folks, this time you dropped the ball. What's the cost of an order of Gnocchi for you to make? 2.00.....3.00. Would it have been a big deal to at least offer my meal for free? By the way, I made Gnocchi Saturday night at home. My wife had Spaghetti. We shared the same Garlicky three chees sauce. It was amazing! Not really all that hard to get it right."

"Great small Thai dining area in lake country. thai Tuesday are really good value, with most dressed at $13 or so (seafood is a little extra.) authentic taste, good quantities and great service for what they pay, this good bang for the buck. no luxury experience through any stretch (located in a small shopping center), but good value for a casual meal."

"I have been to this coffee house a number of times. Great atmosphere. My last lunch experience wasn't wonderful. A grilled wrap with a slice of orange - the presentation on the plate was pretty naked. I would suggest they add a little salad to dress it up. A little on the pricy side for the amount of food you get. Soups dessert and coffee would be my recommendation. Great place to hang with a friend and have a peak at the art on display."

"We loved the atmosphere, all the servers there were very kind. We did a wine tasting, and even though they were short staffed, they were very attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. He was very knowledgeable about the wine as well. Wine was amazing, and the food was delicious. Service was quick, and they always made sure we were okay. Definitely will stop in again!
