"Wir wohnen ganz in der Nähe und sind öfters mal zu Gast in der Krone. Und als "Einheimische" wissen wir, wie schwer es Restaurants hier in Grenznähe zu dem wesentlich günstigeren Deutschland haben. Will man Gäste anlocken, muss man sich als Wirt/in etwas einfallen lassen! Und das gelingt dem Ehepaar Schmid ganz offensichtlich. Die Krrone bietet regelmässig Spezialitäten. Seien es besondere Burger, zubereitet mit ausgezeichneten lokalen Produkten oder die nun beginnenden "Griechischen Wochen". So geht es das ganze Jahr...immer findet man in der Krone etwas spezielles. Dabei ist die Krone kein luxus Restaurant und alles andere als abgehoben. Das schlägt sich dann auch in den (für Schweizer Verhältnisse) durchaus akzebtablen, günstigen Preise nieder. Auch sonst bietet die Krone einiges. Von der Tandem Vermietung für Touristen bis zum kostenlosen Shuttle für Einheimische nach Hause, wenn es denn mal ein Gläschen des ausgezeichneten, lokalen Weines zu viel war.
