"I only give 4 stars because of the bartender. Beer selection was great, I even got several Christmas gifts for friends at home from the coolers along the wall. The service was fast, although not especially friendly. I was there with a friend and since he bought dinner I was buying our drinks. She refused to speak to me directly, kept talking to him regarding cash out even though I used my card for the tab and even after asking the name still handed the bill to him to sign. I’m not sure if she was having an off night or just into my drinking companion but it was very off putting and sadly I felt as though my business didn’t matter at all to her. Which is unfortunate since it seems like a cool place for my trips down. I think I’ll stick to The Trophy Room next door instead."

"Wanted to get Thai food for lunch before visiting a family member who was in the hospital. Originally decided to stop at the other Thai place next door, but was literally used from the dining room b/c the owner, what looked like a leaf blower to blow the dust out of his dingy and dark restaurant - think this is 10 min after the posted opening hour. He also told us rude to get out of the way and wait outside until he was finished. I had no time for this kind of attitude and lack of customer service, so I decided to take my business to Charm Thai. Wow – the difference between Charm Thai and the other Thai restaurant next door was like night and day! Charm Thai was well lit and perfectly clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming – they don't treat you like a stupidity. The food was great and the price was right. It was a pleasant experience. If you are a fan of pho or Thai boat noodles, they have THE BEST Thai boat noodles I have ever tasted! You can say it was made in the house with authentic ingredients of scratches and lots of love. It was so aromatic and soothing for the soul. I would definitely recommend getting Thai food here if you are ever in downtown Winston."

"The food was great. We ordered the antipasto Misto for an appetizer. The bruschetta and calamari was so good. The bread and pesto dip was yummy. I ordered the veal Osso Bucco and it was fall apart tender. The mushroom risotto was so creamy. Great flavor!! I also tried the salmon tuscana and pesto fettuccini. All great. My only wish is that it was a little quieter. It is not a big space and when full, it is loud. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my first time."
