"Great place for having some food and drinks and dances. There are two independent areas with different music which is awesome. The only thing I didn't like is that the bartenders randomly put prices when paying. Once i had to pay 8. for a beer and the second time it was already 9. . this one franc doesn't play a big role but leaves a bad impression."

"We came to this restaurant on a Saturday night because it was right by our hotel. We know that Baar is a very small town so even though we came on a Saturday night without reservations, we were seated right away, and half of the restaurant was full of people. We ordered the mussles with fries as well a their flatbread. We were brought complimentary beef tartar served with a pickle. The food was great and is a good place if you want pub food."

"At first sight, it is the same old brewery restaurant, but it is when you go eat there that you realize how much of a different place this has become.Up to 5 years ago I used to be a regular guest and bring friends and colleagues to enjoy this pleasant place, where nicely prepare comfort food and several different cordon bleus were prepared nicely, consistently good and at a reasonable price.5 years ago I went again after different ownership/management took it over and already saw major differences. Smaller menu and feeble taste (but higher prices).Last Sunday my wife and I decided to try it again, only to be confirmed in our previous judgment.Major disappointment.If you want to have nice cordon bleus, there are many better places nowadays.Only 5 years ago this was THE place for cordon bleus!What a pity."

"Caves not very large but very interesting. The area of the Enchanted Castle is beautiful, illuminated by beautiful plays of lights and relaxing music, and the Turtle and the Crocodile are truly surprising."

"We waited almost an hour to order, rather too long I thought. But nice decor, good atmosphere, excellent staff, but a bit understaffed the night we were there. Being South African I just had to order the South African burger and although it was really nice (especially since I was hungry after waiting so long to order) I didn't see what made it South African. A little Mrs Ball's chutney would have done the trick, or some spicy chakalaka. Parking is also problematic, probably best to use public transport. All in all well worth a visit but don't expect an authentic South African burger."
