"I love Silky's and have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. My concretes always have been thoroughly mixed, which is important to me. The Muddy Sneakers concrete is my absolute favorite. It is made with peanut butter, hot fudge and Reese's, and it's delightful. They also had a gooey butter cake concrete for a while that was phenomenal. I'm not sure if they still have it, but it was delicious with pecans. Many of the other seasonal options they offer sound good, but Muddy Sneakers from their regular menu wins for me almost every time."

"My husband and I chose to have donuts as our dessert for our wedding rather than a traditional cake, and I happened to stumble across Donut Palace on my search. Ann and the team at Donut Palace were amazing to work with and helped us select donuts that were perfect for our guests. Ann is very responsive, and although I live out-of-state, the process for ordering donuts was very easy and stress free. The donuts were perfect and looked amazing on the donut wall we had at our reception venue. Donut Palace was perfect for our wedding and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a little different type of dessert."

"Great food, great service and great bear! Even if their beers aren't for you, they've got quite a bit of local beers from places like Narrow Gauge that aren't as big as the Urban Chestnuts out there. Location is a bit odd, but once you're there, they've done a lot with their little strip center space! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"Best Chinese restaurant around, in my opinion! You have the best food and it's cheap. My husband and I are going from the Pacific and eating. You have the best crab ringoon. Oversized portions, friendly workers/cooks and the best food. What else do you want? It is always clean inside and the bathrooms are always okay. Hunan Express will get you 5 stars!"

"My Del Trompo, or “El Farolito” taco on a flat bed made by a soft but durable mysteriously green tortilla is an unmatchable experience. The meat is achiote-roasted pork al pastor with chopped onion, cilantro, a bit of chihuahua cheese, lime juice, and salsa. There are delicate litttle rolls of cucumber seasoned with tajin off to the side on my plate, the perfect refreshing crunch in between bites. Even the slice of lime for my taco is charred, a sophisticated touch to bring the art, that is my plate, up a notch.I feel like Remi in Ratatouille when he eats a strawberry with cheese as I devour my taco. Tacos al pastor are my favorite food of all time and I’ve never had them better than at Malinche. That being said, I always pick the pineapple off of my tacos. Pineapple is to many a vital ingredient to tacos al pastor, thus, my actions are possibly a de-classified cardinal sin in Mexico, but a necessary deed for my tastes. Malinche has my picky eater stamp of approval! To close off the night, my mini churros are warm and light-weight, painted in a delicate webbing of cajeta (sweet caramelized goat milk) and chocolate syrup. The sugary shell vessel encasing these beautiful little gifts from God is flawlessly not too soft and not too hard. My parents’ mini key lime pies are layered with galleta María. My mom says this dessert is something all Mexican moms make when they don’t know what else to make. Maybe that part of the code in the “Mexican mom genome” just didn’t make its way to her.Anyways, at the end of the day, Malinche has been an unparalleled Mexican culinary experience for the greater St. Louis area. Dining at Malinche is distinctive in regards to the restaurant’s recognition and execution of the marriage of Spanish and Indigenous flavours that most embody Mexico. Every dish on the menu is authentically Mexican. What could be a more suitable reference than La Malinche? A mother to the new nation of Mexico. The family dining experience at Malinche is definitely one- of-a-kind in the St. Louis area, but in my humble opinion, also in the Midwest as a whole. In terms of authenticity of food, ambiance, and the staff/community, it is truly a privilege to visit Malinche."

"Music was awesome but Tony always is... sign on door indicated $5 cover for entertainment. (Might be nice if noted added to bill on sign) We arrived at 2:15 (they open at 2) and proceeded to order food and figured we had missed the cover. Music started at 3. Food was okay, kind of pricey, $16 for app of pot stickers, waitress was great! Very tight quarters, surprised when we each received our bill and there was $5 added to each of them. Guess I 'm old school but I 'm used to someone at the door collecting cover. Tony is worth a cover anytime! The division of the check wasn 't accurate but we didn 't ask her to fix it. Friend offered to buy me a $4 beer since I drove and instead I had all of my beers (3) plus one of hers on my bill so essentially I was out 8 extra dollars, though my friend paid me $4 for her beer. Total bill for appetizer, 4 beers, and cover was $46 before tip!"
