"The Otaru Beer brewery house is a great spot to end your day exploring the town. We went here on a rainy autumn day at around 4.30/5pm and it was really easy to find a table, but when we left around 6pm there was a line so it does get busy here. For us it was the perfect spot to warm up, drink some great German style beers and have some dinner. The beers were really good! We tried all 3 of the standard, main beers they offer (pilsner, dark and wheat beers) and all were equally good. The food was good too, although portion sizes are on the smaller side I would say so maybe stick to the proper mains if you're hungry. There is even a little gift shop to buy some Otaru beer themed gifts if you like. All in all would recommend coming here if you're visiting Otaru."

"I thought I would pay 2,000 yen, but it was so delicious that I wanted to eat more, so I added it! It's not a sophisticated restaurant like today, but it was a place where I could eat and drink very calmly. The location is right next to the station and the owner of the store is also friendly. I will come back to Otaru just to visit this store"

"This cafe and hostel is right next to the Otaru canal. They have amazing coffee and very delicious food at reasonable prices. It looks like an old factory from the outside but the inside is beautifully renovated. We would definitely book a stay here next time we visit Otaru."

"It was great quality of foods especially sashimi. The price is reasonable too. Though, It is seems customers need booking otherwise they seemed limits your eating for 1hr. (I think it must depends on the situation, so if you are lucky you will be able to eat nice foods much longer than me) Anyway, I will visit again if I visit Otaru again."
