"We would never knew about this place if not for our Swiss friends. Hidden away in the vineyards above the Lake Biel (Lac de Bienne,) this small family run restaurant enjoys a unique setting overlooking the lake and St. Peter's Island. Simple but tasty food, filets de féra meunière (whitefish from the lake) are absolutely delicious. Enjoy your meal on the terrace while watching sunset, the views are magnificent."

"Viajábamos hacia Alemania y decidimos comer en este restaurante. El Lugar es muy bonito, junto al lago (la mesa a pocos metros del agua).El servicio es amable pero, en mi opinión, la comida no se corresponde con la categoria del establecimiento ni con el precio.Respecto a los precios... platos entre 28 y 31 CHF (calidad y cantidad insuficiente); entiendo que cobren 4.50 CHF por una cerveza, pero 4,20 CHF por un café "suave" ?Finalmente, la factura indicaba total 221,80 CHF o bien 241,55 € !!(Cambio oficial: 1 € = 1,087 CHF; es decir la cantidad a pagar en € debe ser inferior a la de francos suizos y no más alta). Afortunadamente pudimos pagar en francos."

"Das Restaurant zum alten Schweizer ist gemütlich eingerichtet und die Dame im Service sehr freundlich und macht ihren Job mit Hingabe. Die gewählten Eglifilets à la meunière waren ausgezeichnet. Schön knusprig gebraten an einer feinen und leichten Weissweinsauce mit Kapern. Einziger kleiner Wehrmutstropfen war ein relativ schrillendes Geräusch welches jeweils ertönte, wenn ein Gericht aus der Küche kam. Aber sonst sehr zu empfehlen."
