"The entrance to the family-run restaurant is the long pedestrian bridge. it's worth the walk for the sake of your mind. the restaurant serves easy eating to reasonable cost. for five of us we had a cheese and bread plate and cheese, sausage and breadboard. the cheese, broth and sausage were very good. we had to eat, they also serve ice cream."

"We discovered this restaurant on our first day. my man loves cordon blus and they have a sign saying that they have sorted, and so we have a mental memory that we have to stop before we go. a few days later after the return to adelboden from a...day of adventure we held around 18 clock with friends. we all went in, 7 of us and the lady said she closes at 18 o'clock, but would like to invite us and cook for us. we all ordered, drinks, salad, suppen and dinner. everything was brought to us in time and everything was fresh and delicious. the dame was so nice and ready to make us all happy! beautiful restaurant. super clean and has toys and coloring books, books for children."

"Wenn wir Skifahren, gehen wir oft auf die Elsigalp. Am Mittag finden wir dann immer ein Plätzchen in der Elsighütte, dabei sollte man an schönen Tagen sicher auch bereit sein etwas enger zusammen zu rücken. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und auch bei regem Betrieb zuvorkommend. Es gibt sehr leckeres Essen für jeden geschmack ist etwas dabei. Ich schätze es sehr dass man in der Elsighütte noch persönlich bedient wird, im gegensatz zu den Selbstbedienungs Restaurants die heute in vielen Skigebieten zu finden sind. Auch verweilt man dort gerne noch etwas in diesem schönen Ambiente welches umgeben ist von Bergen. Auf jeden Fall ist die Elsighütte einen Besuch wert."

"We had lunch here after a good walk in the mountains. Don 't expect any high cuisine, instead honest and good farm food served on a large terrace. There is a playing ground for children with a trampoline. We had a cheese and meat plate, an omelette, spaghetti bolognese and sausage/fries. All dishes were good hearty food. I 'd rate this restaurant between average and very good (say good , as it is everything expected on a mountain with the playground as a bonus, ."

"Zurück vom Elsighorn sind wir hier eingekehrt und wurden mit mehr als nur freundlichem Empfang, Service und Essen empafngen. Die Wildgerichte sind ausgezeichnet und die Chefin hat den Service gekonnt und effizient im Griff. Auch bei vollem Restaurant geht es flott und die Lust auf ein Wiederkehren ist gross. So macht es Freude zu Wandern, mit dieser Belohnung danach."

"Das essen war gut, das service personal war überfordert und unfreundlich! uns war bewusst, dass an einem schönen sonnentag viele leute im restaurant sind, aber einen so miserablen service war uns noch in keinem bergrestaurant passiert! die bestellung wurde falsch aufgenommen, es kam das falsche getränk und essen, auf reklamationen ist das servicepersonal nicht eingegangen und hat und das falsch bestellte essen lassen. (inkl murrende und wütende bemerkungen) die rechnung war falsch! das ganze nicht nur bei uns sondern auch an den beiden nachbarstischen."
