"Absolutely beautiful restaurant, fantastic service and delicious food! My husband and I visited La Boulaye twice in a week, for dinner inside then lunch out on the terrace. Absolute gem of a place, in stunning countryside. Maryline, Stéphane and team made us feel so welcome....Despite our very poor French! Both food and wine were excellent. Stéphane recommended a cot (Malbec) from the local region, which was absolutely delicious. The ambience in the restaurant is beautiful, and the view from the terrace not to be missed. Best dessert I’ve ever had in my life….the cherry profiterole with dark chocolate fudge brownie ice cream wow! We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for having us. An experience not to be missed!"

"This little post office, cum shop/bar/restaurant on the main road to Tours looks like nothing much. There are a few tables out front facing the main road, and a little terrace out back - tables arranged in a line - we sat facing a garage wall, and a battered Citroen. But the food was good. Home-cooking. And a surprising amount of choice for such a small place. And unbelievable value. Four courses for Euro 13. This is one of the most memorable meals we've had in France."

"We celebrated a birthday in this restaurant. the inputs served were very good, whether it was the Santiago shells or the foie gras. Then everyone chose the bar net with seasonal vegetables. The fish was cool. all this served with an excellent white touraine wine from the father of the chef of the restaurant. then hot goat with salad and dessert: a light chocolate cake. We were all really happy. the waitress was also very nice and pleasant and the frame was original since it was a troglodytic habitat."

"My husband, my daughter and I love this restaurant, the atmosphere, the decoration, the friendliness and kindness of the waitress and of course the quality of the cuisine. We went there the last time on Friday October 20 in the evening and we plan to return there the weekend of November 4/5. It's a real pleasure, relaxation and delight for the taste buds...I kept putting off making a comment on the Pigeonnier and now having seen JC's comment??? I said to myself: “oh no, I have to re-establish the truth and talk about our experience”. Thanks to the Pigeonnier team and see you soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Un des meilleurs restaurants auquel j'ai mangé, sans aucun doute.Accueil très agréable, personnel à l'écoute et très serviable. Le service rien à redire. Nous étions placé à côté de la cheminée. Le repas était vraiment excellent, nous avions pris le menu complet à 50€ chacun. Aucun regret. Je conseille vivement cette expérience pour découvrir de nouvelles saveurs."
