"The hotel is very close to the center of the city of Bruchsal. It's location is definitely a plus, once every major store is a few steps away. The environment is very cozy and rustic (in a good way). In the main hall there are brewing equipment and machinery, a reminder of past times on which this place was a different thing. It is a simple 3 star hotel, so you should not expect luxury from it. The breakfast could have more verity, but is good anyways. A major downside, for me, is the wifi speed. Barely enough for a video call. Safety: Very secure. Bruchsal is a small town. No signs of crimilaty in miles Walkability: Very easy. The hotel is close to downtown. "Well, I'll start with the service. The staff is top notch and super accommodating. We got in late one evening and we were starving. For some strange reason, we wanted beef. So my travel mate asked for a steak and I ordered an off menu...item (cheeseburger/ with bacon). Did I mention that we were seated at the hotel bar and didn't want to move into the restaurant? So our awesome server came into the bar with a table cloth and proceeded to dress the table as if we were dining in the restaurant. There's more. While waiting for our meal. The chef sends out two incredible salads topped with pancetta disks and a house vinegarette. AMAZING!! Now for the juicy part. The most heavenly meal arrives just as we finished the salads. The filet that my mate ordered was topped with a mushroom reduction and served with green mashed potatoes.The presentation was spot on. Now I don't want to brag, but what the hell. This was the best burger I have ever eaten. Maybe it was it was the only burger in the place made just for me. No way. This was a thing of pure delight. Topped with more pancetta. Oh yeah, the hand cut fries set this to the next level. After the meal, I asked if we could personally thank the chef and he did come out to receive his praises and a challenge to make gumbo when I return. I can go on about how awesome the staff was and how each meal just got better each night. This is the place to stay and eat if you are in or near the area."

"We came without reservation and got a nice table in the beer garden. Very nice service and the food made me happy. First a greeting came from the kitchen, a small delicate tuna salad. I had fillet syringes on salad. A so good salad with meat is very rare!! Then someone thought about it because the meat was gently roasted with onions and mushrooms in a small sauce, next to a salad turret. And I had warm meat until the end. My husband had Reh stripes and Spätzle and was equally satisfied. It was very nice served. And with these beautiful bread bowls the heart goes up anyway. I found the price."
