"Like Zorro? Z is the newly designed restaurant of Hotel Zugbrücke in Grenzau. I was here for lunch today. To the brook very bright with a huge window front a welcoming large guest room has been created, in the middle by a step raised with comfortable chairs or Diner banks. Vocal ambience with bright wood, dark seat covers and dark plates, complemented with matching fabric colors on the ceiling, modern and elegant. Service personnel without end, very friendly, tried and fast. Very large is the standard buffet, very small and manageable is the card. For lunch, I ordered the potato soup with milk foam, bacon and marjoram (5,50€ and the salad "Z" with poularden fillets, crunchy leaf salads and homemade Westerwälder potato-Wildkräuterdressing (11,50€ ), because fresh regional herbal cuisine has taken the train bridge to the flags. The dry Riesling from the middle moss was good, came in the carafe, but unfortunately somewhat too warm. In addition, there was a basket with different types of bread, especially the very dark, and 2 varieties of butter. For soup: tastefully good, but the milk foam I would have, as the whole surface is taking, tasteful and visually not needed, maybe there would be a small Klecks cream fraiche a better idea. For pimped salad: a variety of really crunchy salads, carrots in thin stick form and fresh salad cucumbers (not my case, but the cook can't know that. For this, perfectly spiced fillets from the poulard breast and ... on an extra plate, the mysterious herbal dressing in the personal shaken bottle – so you also keep fit with/beim food, very well. Conclusion: a fresh kitchen that I will surely visit again"

"English short version: - ice was good- seafood salad was good- pizza was way too saltyfood: Okish.Customer service: i thought it was ok, but then...Employe destroyed trouser (had a good intention but imperfect for that i have to pay now). a dinner costs instead of 20 eur now 100eur. it was an oil stain which i could have washed out with other means but thanks to the employee’s good intention, my trouser is broken now. don’t trust anyone’s experience, ok, but what made me the bad rating is the owners handling of the situation when i called. i expected an apology or anything at all. but in return they hang up twice on me, did not pick up the 3rd and told me, that it’s my problem and they aren’t responsible for their employees actions. i’ll talk to my lawyer now.Leider extremely bad customer experience and the reason is enough to 1. no longer recommend the restaurant and 2. never go there again. this kind of attitude to customers, I didn't like to undermine. The pros:- nice decoration, good ice cream con:- pizza salat was salted - oil stain on the pants (I passed when eating). coworker recommends to make spueli on the spot.
