"Fantastic! Happened across this little gem on Easter Sunday. The landlord and waitress were extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered the Sunday lunch, which was really tasty and generous in size. They even went out of their way to specially prepare a vegan dessert for my wife, as we booked our table a few hours in advance. Fantastic little place with lots of old charm which also has a cosy open fireplace. Food drinks: Brilliant! Service: 5"

"Best fish &chips I’ve eaten in Devon . Always have a large haddock &chips the fish is always succulent and full of flavour the batter is excellent lovely and crunchy and the chips are very good . We travel over from malborough nr salcombe at least once a month which is a good 36 mile round trip and it’s worth the time and effort . Keep up the good work silver grill ."
