"We've just finished dinner here and it was our second time there today because the food is so good. We found the restaurant this afternoon and had lunch. Yes the menus are all in German, but hey we're blessed with google translate now if you don't understand the menu. The waiter at lunch was great, he did happen to speak English, which was nice but we still tried with our best broken German! Weinerschnitzel was to die for! At dinner myself and my partner both had the burgers which were superfilling sadly leaving no room for dessert. The views are beautiful over the lake. Also what is lovely even now in the height of summer the area is not full of screaming tourists and children!! Great restaurant 100% recommend!!!!"

"I planned to eat all over the region but one meal here (Pheasant Breast with Shallots in Red Wine), plus a 2016 Jamal Grüner Geltliner, convinced me not to eat anywhere else. (I did, in fact, taken by friends, but it was not anywhere near as good.) Beside the lake or in the dining room are both perfect locales. Vincent is a superb and charming host (as is his dad) and the variety of dishes (changing all the time) and wines (a stunning list, especially of Austrian and Italian) make this a dream restaurant for me. Stay in the hotel so you can walk home in a minute. It's bliss"

"What makes this cafe great are two things. The service from René and the location. I've come here times in the last years; but this time it was over the top because of René. He served us with not just a smile but...also realized we loved the strudel and offered to hold pieces for us to come back the next night, since they run out quickly. The location is handy and they are open late too."
