"We really enjoyed our dinner experience. The food was prepared just right and the ambience was out of this world. Our view from the mountain top was unbelievable. We even experienced a rainbow in the sky while eating. The food was great and very resealable. The portions were generous."

"We honestly really enjoyed this place. It's the type of quaint little mountain restaurant you'd imagine seeing in a small ski town and on the side of a mountain. We got there relatively early and only had to wait minutes or so to order. We both did the special (I think that's what it was called) plus a sweet roll and an order of sourdough toast. First of all, we ordered TOO MUCH FOOD, but that's on us. As the title of this review says....the giant glob of stuff you get with your sweet roll is NOT frosting LOL, it is butter. I learned this after slathering a glob on a piece of sweet roll and promptly shoving it in my mouth. Being a born and bread Wisconsinite, I do, admittedly, love butter, but this was a bit much even for a hearty Midwestern girl. Again, not the restaurant's fault, but know it's NOT frosting LOL! That being said, the term sweet roll where I'm from typically equates to a cinnamon roll, which this sweet roll is not. It was more of a slightly sweetened sourdough roll with butter on the side...actually a very nice substitute for what is typically an option that may put you into diabetic shock. For me, the highlight of the meal were the sourdough pancakes. I'm used to giant, thick buttermilk pancakes and these were definitely not that but different and good. Aside that were several options of homemade jams and the aroma that fills the place from all the scratch-baked breads is amazing. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend the restaurant to anyone."

"Ate here based on local recommendations and reviews. It was very busy, slow service. Ordered the sweet roll and was not a fan. Coffee was good. The rest of the food was just okay. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to try. Cute place to eat with plenty of seating."

"After skiing for a few hours, we absolutely had to stop by Sitzmark! I think this was the fastest service I've ever received at a resort, we ordered and our food came out within 5 minutes. The waitresses were very sweet and quick to accommodate. Prices are average for Alaska $7-$20). We thought the decor was very cool and added positive vibes to the indoor area. You have to give Sitzmark a try!"

"Must update your cost assessment. Eating is great, but I would show the cost of meal. We had ordered two small pizzas that cost us a total of 53. Again, not complain about the meal itself, but more so the lack of transparency of the meal costs."

"First off our waitor we had great service. Super kind and pleasant. Was understanding towards my autistic sons food issues when we asked his food was prepared a certain way. We ordered food and drinks and all were amazing. Nice little hidden gem if you are in Girdwood! Also love how they gave the kids am actually cup of crayons and not just 3 or 4 colors like most places do. We had fun coloring waiting for our food!"
