"We had dinner here to celebrate our friend's upcoming wedding. The restaurant is quaint with a low ceiling and a few tables indoors. There was also a deck area outside. The wild mushroom salad was amazing! I had their special Irish Whiskey Steak which was...wonderful and the portions were huge. My husband had the veal and our sons had the stag which were both amazing. And for dessert, blueberry tart. The servers were very attentive and made sure our wine/water glasses were never empty. A truly memorable evening!"

"Great location near Davos. Monstein is a real Swiss village. The Restaurant Ducan serves great food and great beer from their own brewery. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something nice to celebrate or just to have your good food . I will definitely return ! If you in Davos, you have to visit Monstein"

"Heute zum Mittagessen da! Das Siedfleischcarpaccio kommt mit einer super Apfelvinaigrette daher, einfach super lecker und erfrischend! Der Burger ist auch toll, vorallem das leckere Holzofenbrötchen! Krönender Abschluss, war der superleckere Blaubeerkuchen! Service super nett und freundlich...ich komme wieder!"

"My husband and I dined in the Alpenhof restaurant during our visit to Davos and we were astonished by the outstanding food and the amazing service! The wine is great and they offer several small complimentary dishes between the courses, a lovely touch to add to the overall feel!!! Alpenhof restaurant is a must to visit when in Davos!"

"Nice berghaus meaning it's not a real restaurant. it's really up the mountain and especially in winter you have to earn your beers and wine by walking up almost one hour frum the bus stop davos frauenkirch (spoiler: coming down with the sled that they lend you free of charge is quicker and lots of fun. but do not forget your headlamp, if you want to do it) . why not a real restaurant? well as theyare snowed in most of the winter they do not have a big menu. difficult to go bring all the things up. so mainly is cheese fondue and raclette, the two swiss classics. (works brst if you do reservations one or two days in advance). but we discovered that they have a big cellar for beers and they fill it up before the snow comes... ; so all in all it is not for the spontaneous let's go out and dine thing. it's more let"s a gruop of pals thogether, walk up, eat an exagerate amount of cheese fondue/raclette, drink a bit, and sled down thing.... good way to spend an evening with friends and the charming young couple spending the winter up there and managing the place."
