"A hidden gem nurtured with love and care by Iannis and his wife, Niki. Ask for daily specials and you won’t be disappointed everything is delicious and prepared with lots of love and attention. You can also buy olive oil, home made cookies, herbs and rakomelo honeyed raki with cinnamon, delicious in winter time. Whenever I come here I feel like I’m visiting my parents and that I’m coming back home. : 2022: still amazing, added new pics"

"We were here for the 2nd time. Last year just coffee, now something to eat. We were again greeted very friendly and had a comfortable spot in the partial shade we chose. The friendly man who served us spoke English and a little German. He recommended today's dish, moussaka, which we finally ordered. At the beginning we were served a basket of pita bread, with oil and salt to drizzle on the table. Pita and moussaka, with a side salad, were very delicious and we also enjoyed the cappuccino. We'll definitely be back!"

"Despite an arrival at about 3pm, the restaurantmaker prepared a very good salad, and the coffee served with small biscuits houses was great.If you pass through there I highly recommend it."

"Nostos is a restaurant, but has the feeling of a taverna, with quite comfortable seating, very hospitable staff who are willing to explain dishes or recommend what to eat. They have two daily (traditional) dishes they inform you about at your table, and they are written on the blackboard at the street. They serve many traditional and local dishes, from which we tried quite a few, and they were well prepared and really delicious and unlike anything we’ve ever had before in Greece. (And this is our 11th time visiting this wonderful country) Maybe that explains also why so many local Greeks eat here! Ofcourse, tourists come here as well. The menu has a wide variety of dishes and appetizers, ofcourse also including the ‘standard’ dishes you’ll expect in every taverna. A very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The toilets are very clean and tidy, which might be unimportant, but was another stand-out to me. When you are finished eating, you’ll get a piece of homemade cake and a tiny bottle of Greek raki, which serves about 4 shots. Prices are very decent, especially when you take into consideration that you’ll be eating something different and very well prepared. I highly recommend to enjoy a very tasty and original meal here, and please try some of the local/traditional dishes!!!"
