"This part of Austria is famous for obst and weinbau, international ballon competitions, cycling and fantastic walks. grüber is located on a lake called stübenbergsee. close to there is a wild park called herberstein. the decor is very mixed and a touch old fashion....The service is first class, fast and very attentive. we had a 2 course set menu, 11,90 €, homemade clear suppe and a frying pork (big roast) with dumplings and sour wort. In portions was large and the food was very well cooked. other portion sizes looked very generous like the cakes. they have a pizza menu that I cannot comment on and other different dishes with chips. target for families with children. I would suggest it is not a place for special occasions, but from our experience was eating high quality, good value and generous portions"
