"Just had lunch today. Firstly I would say that the service was excellent and very friendly. On the down side of this report is firstly there is no wine list, so it is pot luck( price wise). Secondly the clams that we had for a starter were of poor quality and not fresh. I did not complain, which is quite unusual for me, because I have known the waiter for some years. We followed up with Linguado (Dover Sole). This was fine but served with vegetables left over from yesterday( in my opinion only) otherwise they were extremely over cooked yet dry. However it has a wonderful setting yet I was somewhat surprised by our final bill of €60+ for 2 people. The choice is yours."

"The place is clearly different from the regular with clean deco and attentive staff. They have a great variety of meat from various origins. The cow meat is definitely the highlight here. However still not excelent yet.. We started with the beef carpaccio it...was dryish tin beef slices, period. Had to season it with lots of black pepper. Then we ordered the degustação for 2. Presentation and side dishes were good. The meat was an average (at best) portion for 2 meat lovers and had lots of nerves and fat. We have beef rare so this fat wont cook properly meaning its waste. Definetely a bit of disappointment here on the star of the house. The deserts are excelent and are the main reason for the 4 star review."

"We went for lunch early on a Saturday and it was not that busy, but it gets crowded quickly. The food was delicious and the portions huge!! It goes on the pricy side, but the ambience, service and food taste make it worth it. We enjoyed our lunch and would definitely come back!"
