"One important information upfront: the restaurant is not exclusive for BASF but not for a light budget. But it's worth every penny (or Euro). A place where tradition meets culinary extravagance. BASF's so-called Casino provides both the atmosphere of the good old times of the...German industry and the warmth of Palatinatian hospitality. The cuisine is excellent and the service extraordinary (very friendly and attentive, not stiff at all). Ask for the sommelier if you struggle with wine selection as the place is supplied by BASF's wine cellar, one of German's largest wine distributors. The team is well trained and knowledgeable about the dishes and your wines. And don't miss the digestives at the end of the day!"

What Luise Popp doesn't like about Roosters BBQ: fast delivery. but the price-performance ratio is under-par. Apart from the pommes, the rest went directly into the container. small portions, overpriced and unusable. read more.

What Genesis McDermott likes about Asia Bistro Mekong: beautiful snack, in the middle of ludwigshafen. Eating is made very fast, a bit faty, but very tasty. I think it's good to see the kitchen, not as competitive as you want to hide something. for a small snack always good. read more.

What Ullrich Fischer likes about Osteria Limoni: Sehr gut besuchtes Restaurant, wirkt gemütlich und einladend.
"Sometime in the 80s, two house entrances moved from me, family Roselli. A son, a daughter, mother and father. I asked my mother: “Why are the Rosellis all so small?” my mother said: “For they have to work when they are big,” so we accepted our good friends from Viernheim in the car. Thank you for coming home on this way. Finally, after the overall successful (Culinarian-viewed evening) we could conjure them a smile on their lips. Back in real time. We cycle along the Neckar with our wire soul and drive home, we turn into the Neckarstadt Ost and stop at the Limoni. Immediately the 4 gear menu (45 Euro) jumps into my eye. Cannelloni with lamb and mushrooms as well as Tagliata from beef. Talpia, Tagliata from the cow? Never heard, but somehow the court has thrilled me. Shortly after we arrived, brother asked Google. Talpia seems to be a specialty. Interesting. Shortly occupied with our acquaintances, we reserved ourselves for October 2, 2020 6 weeks ago. The lady asked “in beautiful weather outside?” Of course... The Limoni offers traditional, regional dishes of Italian cuisine. Every three months the owners change the card for the season, so that the guest can get to know the whole variety of Italian cuisine. A Guide Michelin Inspector writes: “Where it is so cozy and lively and you are served as friendly as with the Paba family, you can also come to dinner more often and this is available in the form of Italian classics or as beautiful menus. Tip for summer: the green terrace!” Right, the interior and the cozy outdoor terrace the big plus in Osteria. The walls inside in green, the homepage gives a good impression. The wooden chairs have all armrests. In the outdoor area you sit in the warm months (today it was 26 degrees, in the evening 23 degrees wonderfully under vines, but today only the indoor tables were covered. Abropo Guide Michelin. In the entrance area, the guest is made understandable with around 20 Guide Michelin stickers that he is ambitious here. I find something exaggerated, but good. I remember a pool visit in the 80s, the first summer for the Rosellis in Landau (in the meantime friends with the junior in Offenbach. The good old “Offenbacher”. On our way home we have another stop at Hela/Edeka(? Market in Bornheim. Giuseppe said to look for something and grinned. I took a leather football to be a European championship in the summer. Now I knew why he wanted to buy an ice cream every 30 minutes. We look in the menu. No daily offer, no dishes on the stone board. I'll look around. There is no stone board at all. We'll see the map again, for me it was clear from the beginning. I'll take the 4 gear menu, my wife's the 3 gear. Our table neighbours chose the Anti Pasti plate 2 persons as well as Talpia from the cow and once the mixed grilled fish plate. We get wordless a basket with white bread 5 Euro pizza rolls and small hot pizza rolls. Oil or butter would have been very nice, unfortunately there was nothing. Otherwise there was no greeting from the kitchen I know from restaurants in this price class. It starts with the Anti Pasti plate for our table neighbours. Anti Pasti Plate for 2 persons On these were peasants, pherols of chickens, warm squid salad, mixed mushrooms, Vitello Tonnato and a bread salad. The driver spiced with pepper and salt, his wife tasted so good. I also had season, it was the first course. Buffalo mozarella without buffalo flavour Mozzarella di bufala con cetrioli, pomodorini e pesto buffalo mozzarella on Gurke carpaccio, cherrytomates and basilumpesto . Was the buffalo mozarella? From time to time, I get it in the grocery store. I remembered a soft consistency, strong buffalo milk taste. But he had no good taste today, even the consistency didn't fit. That's the same for the rest. Cucumber carpaccio was not, but normal cucumber slices, some tomatoes. I clearly missed the acid in court. There was none. The weakest band for me in the menu. My better half had her turkey potterine with paprika on summer salad, she tasted good. After the first gear, I got my conversation, about which I was so happy. Two small rolls of Cannelloni, filled with fried lamb. They became paws. Nice to meet you, but not very good. The pasta vinegar could have been provided with salt, even if a tick acid had been good for the dish. Nevertheless, my wife and her colleague also tried. The two ladies had tasted very well. Let's go to the highlights tonight. The main dishes were all fantastic: Zander filled with shrimp Filetto di Luccioperca farcito con gamberi e salsa di patate e zafferano Zanderfilet filled with shrimps on a potato saffron sauce. From my better half came 1 Plus grilled fish plate Pesce misto alla griglia, pesto d ́aglio, prezzemoloe verdure grigliata mixed grilled fish, garlic parsley pesto on grilled vegetables. The plate consisted of shrimp, zipper, butterfish, zander, tuna and skrei. From the Essener came a praise Tagliata from the Rind Tagliata di manzo con marinata di pomodori ed erbe mixed Tagliata from beef with tomatoes herbal marinade. Hammer! Tagliata fine slices of beef perfect The discs were perfect. The vegetables crisp, the oven style, the whole dish is perfect. It went on with the desserts. I exchanged my dessert and the Zuppa INglese with peppermint pesto and fresh strawberries Zuppa Inglese with peat pesto and fresh strawberries (whereever they were, my wife got her standard dessert from the Panna Cotta menu with peach dessert more than standard. Great. Panna Cotta with Peach Our driver family then opted for a Grappa (before they got a first-class Grappa advice and a double espresso. It could have been such a nice evening... we jump two more hours ahead: we order another bread basket to the first band. The owner comes and thinks he has to pay us 5 euros for an additional basket. I was perplexed. I didn't know what to answer. Of course, we also get to know the trends of restaurants, the last time in the Quetschekuchenstubb live, when we were also pointed out. It was just that. Should that be the case? I was right now, but I was looking for the little pizza rolls. What became of the inappropriate joke of the owner at the beginning deprived us of the breath in the bill. I'll take our food, our wines. The bill is very unclear. We had 2 bottles of San Pellegrino, but on the bill still soft drinks, two large and two small bottles of water. Kitchen extra with 10 euros, kitchen extra with 5 euros. Daily dish 15 euros, salad extra 5 euros. Our wines are listed, but very confusing. 3x 0,1 7,50; 3x0.2 13.50 and again 3x0.1 with 11.50. Was that it? The bill was not true. And I don't think so. There were too many drinks and additional dishes on our bill. The table was right, the time was right. The menus were also correct. What's going on? I trembled fraud. That wasn't so clear to us last night after a night slept over it, it's like I'm losing my eyes. That was all obviously done on purpose. The best thing: The boss wrote our dishes and drinks on an additional note and recalculated for 5 euros. To his favor. Since I am mathematically quite fit, I transfer the numbers on my head reading in memory and asked him? That is true, he replied, sure, then he counted according to the numbers and came to 5 euros less. That's more than bad. At the beginning we had a difference in the bill of almost 50 euros at the end, he wanted to squeeze out the 5 euros, so in the future we will make a big sheet around the square. No recommendation!! Conclusion: Warning: The owner tries to bring guests with an opaque bill and sharp numbers to their money. Top dishes such as Talpia from beef or Zander filled with shrimp do not help over it. We left 220 euros in the restaurant, which is a lot of money, but obviously not enough for the owners. An apology of the owner did not come, we would have found it well if a round of Grappa or Sambucca had come as an excuse, but there was nothing."
