"I highly recommend this place out of many reasons, the drive up to the restaurant is amazing with stunning views over the Tegernsee plus the Freihaus is an authentic Bavarian restaurant and very beautiful. The food was very tasty and the server was able to...communicate in English, they had English menus available as well. I have been to the Freihaus many times for lunch and dinner and this time was the first time I took my wife and she was very impressed. Food and service was always exceptional. The roasted potatoes, the classic Bavarian dishes including the dessert were super delicious...we will be back for sure!"

"Wir kommen immer wieder auf den Jennerwein zurück, wenn wir anspruchsvolle Gäste haben, die in schönem Ambiente bei netter Bedienung essen zu gehen gewohnt sind. Zu empfehlen sind das Wiener Schnitzel und Boeuf a la mode. Es ist sehr gemütlich , wenn man einen Tisch in der Ecke neben dem Kachelofen bekommt."

"Super nice not too big hotel. Rooms are real class, no snuck that nobody needs. Beds very comfortable and the bathroom really nice. We had a room with lake view, fantastic. W-Lan is available everywhere and fast. The breakfast buffet is a dream. It is served in a small space and it has everything the heart desires. It's all freshly prepared, really great. In the cosy breakfast room there is also the possibility to eat evening. A great praise to the kitchen, tastes really excellent. There is also the possibility to dine in the hotel owners bar. The bar is very welcoming and it is difficult to leave it. Finally, the staff. All we had to do with were super friendly and very helpful. We can recommend the hotel without worrying and will definitely return to the next stay at Tegernsee."

"Ich war mit meiner Freundin romantisch Essen, es ist ein schönes Restaurant, Wir haben Pizza und Pasta gegessen, beides schnell bekommen und es war sehr gut.Als Dessert haben wir eine wunderbare Tiramisu so wie eine Panacotta (Hausgemacht) gegessen die ebenfalls sehr lecker waren."
