"Three of us ordered fish &chips. We ordered 3 teas. We ordered 3 rolls and butter. The order came,and we were very disappointed. The fish was very thin and hardly any batter coating. The rolls were not fresh. The tea was adequate,but not hot enough. Two portions were senior portions,but it was very poor for £8.19. The whole bill was over £31.00. This used to be a good restaurant for fish&chips,but sadly,no more. Will not return. Sorry."

"This is the 3rd time I've ordered from Kokoro. We've ordered on different days and at different times... I have to say... The food is amazing. I was surprised by some reviews, especially the latest one... The food is very authentic and yes the tofu...seems odd in texture... But having worked in Tokyo for the last 3 years, it's the closest you'll get to Japanese tofu. The wasabi is amazing, perfect katsu... This week there was no chilli chicken... shame as that is amazing! Best takeaway in maidstone for miles!"

"Phoned to book Sunday lunch for our family of 4, enquired they still offered a vegan roast I had checked on TripAdvisor reviews prior as my son is vegan) yes, assured they did a nut roast. On arrival the table wasn't ready yet so ordered some drinks at the bar.My partner order a non alcoholic Becks which when we paid the bill was put through as non alcoholic) but realised half way through drinking it that it was the standard alcoholic one. We all ordered a roast dinner, I again checked with the server they had a vegan roast, she said was the nut roast ok, yes I said if it is vegan. Dinners arrived, my son's nut roast had a huge Yorkshire pudding on, I checked with the lady who had brought it, was that vegan? She thought it was but would check. Returned to say no it wasn't she could remove it or get a different dinner, I gave my son the options and he was happy to just take it off. I appreciated her honesty but was disappointed. Had my son had an egg or milk allergy this would have been concerning. The same server had made both these errors, not good enough. Unfortunately this tainted our meal out and we won't be returning."

"Best pizza I've had since working in Italy over 10 years ago. When it was delivered, it smelled delicious, and I could feel the heat coming off (not like some high street chains) and the cheese was all gooey and unctios, right till the last slice. My son had a pasta dish which he said was also delicious."

"Got delivery. The food was cold and bland. Chicken was overcooked, sauce was disappointing, and rice was clumpy. Food took nearly an hour and a half to arrive. I'm guessing the great reviews are from dine in experiences. I might try that sometime, but I would not recommend ordering for delivery. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner"
