"What an amazing place. Despite the fact that it’s big and can cater for huge masses of people, it still maintains its traditional and honest feel. The views are amazing. The waiters fantastic. The food very good. As plus is the playground for kids and...the little bunnies freely roaming around. It had amazing relaxing feel, almost like coming home. Would definitely recommend and will come back as soon as we can. By the way .... we drove all the way up to the alm. Towards the end the road is slightly off road but our little Renault has made it and we didn’t see any signs that would prohibit this. Made it easier for us with our small daughter. The Kaiserschmarren was amazing"

"We had a wonderful stay at the gleimingerhof with our children. the trinker family leads a great guest house that offers welcoming, clean, good food and the perfect location. the rooms were comfortable and immaculate, bathroom were a good size and appear recently renovated. we were half board...and enjoyed the variety and quality of the breakfast and dinner they prepared. there was a selection of meals at dinner. the Christmas dinner was especially beautiful. the location is a simple walk to the ski rentals and the reiteral lift. this was our first time skiing in this region and it is a great option that is easy to reach and the lift ticket includes four connected resorts with a free skibus. we were early season, so we couldn't get in and out, but it's close, independent. the wet and dry saunas in the wellness area were pleasant after a ski day. I would highly recommend a family ski holiday."

"Our snowshoe guide led us here to sit in the 400-year-old former kitchen, today small, cozy dining room. You can see how the food is cooked before you on the original range. The menu is as rustic as the setting. We shared an excellent goulash soup and then, the Kaiserschmarren"Pudding “, that is, the Kaiser court, flambéd before you and a must do when you are there."
