"We stopped by here on our way back to St. John’s after visiting Ferryland Colony of Avalon… It was busy and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. But, it was worth it. I had been searching for a classic fish and chips since arriving that offered dressing and gravy on the fries. That was just par for the course on the menu. It seemed like a very popular spot with locals which I take always as a good sign. The portions are good, the prices are reasonable…and geared towards a menu of deep fried goodness though beef and chicken burgers are available. Two of my kids had the Keith burger (chicken) and were happy with it. We left very full, with leftovers and happy with the service! It’s really on outskirts of St John’s though listed under a different community."

"Second attempt to dine at this resto since they were closed in January when we tried. It was well worth the wait! Friendly and quick service, delish food and reasonably priced. We had the cod tongues, seafood chowder and moose cheese melt sandwich."

"You'd think that nachos would be an easy and quick meal, but you'd be wrong. Undercooked chicken, stale chips and a dry as h pizza are only some of the misfortunes that befell us during the hour of dining h e double hockey sticks. We waited over an hour to even get our terrible food and during all this our waiter looked like would rather stick forks in his eyes then look at us. We will not be eating there again to say the least and I hope no one else does either."
