"Past 3x I have been there the service and food is great. There is x2 lovely young boys there that are incredibly polite and speak very clearly. I think one of them has braces and is often on the drive through speaker. He is so friendly and well spoken. Then the other younge man is often handing the food out at the window very blonde. These boys have changed the game at whanga mcdz and deserve a pay rise in my opinion!!!"

"New cafe at the Golf Club. Full breakfast was delicious and all foods prepared and made on site. You can have delicious coffee and there is a wonderful selection of food for your morning break or drop by and have something for lunch. It is a comfortable and relaxing area with wonderful views of the course. The staff are more than happy to accommodate your requests."

"We had dinner at Carpe Diem restaurant on New Years Eve, with a new chef and management it was an all round great dining experience. The staff were fantastic and the meal, my husband had pork belly and myself the chicken, was excellent. For $65.00 on New Years Eve this was brilliant value for money. The party at the venue that followed was well organised and it looked like everyone had a fantastic time including us. We highly recommend and by the way my husband is a UK qualified chef! Well done Carpe Diem we will be back."

"I’m British so I do cringe a bit paying $8 for a pasty but they are yum. Nice little location near the wharf on a sunny day there’s a little picnic table to sit out and enjoy the scenery."
