"Es war ein glückliche Fügung, die uns in Schenk´s Landgasthof geführt hat. Und das Glück(lichsein) hielt bis zu unserer Abreise.Das es in diesem Landgasthof ehrlich und getreu dem selbst gewählten Credo "Mit Hirsch und Herzlichkeit" zugeht, haben wir schon bei der Begrüßung gespürt. Die sehr nette Chefin des Hauses begrüßte uns wirklich sehr herzlich, führte uns in das sehr modern und trotzdem behaglich eingerichtete Zimmer und da waren dann auch die Hirsche. Als Bettbezug, als Wand-Deko oder Lektüre. Hirsche ziehen sich als "Wappentier" durchs ganze Haus, ohne aufdringlich oder peinlich zu wirken. Der Sohn war begeistert über das kostenlose WLAN, der Papa eher von der hörbaren Stille, die den Stadtohren vollkommen fremd war.Das erste Bier, eine kleine Vesper und dann das Studium der Speisenkarte für den Abend. Und das war das einzige Hindernis bei unserem Aufenthalt. Es gab zu viel was wir gerne gegessen hätten, letztendlich war es der hervorragende Ziegenkäse auf Rucola und der Wildschinken mit Grana Padano als Vorspeise, danach zweimal das Rindersteak mit Bratkartoffel bzw. hausgemachten Spätzle. Grandios! Allemal seinen Preis wert. Und der kochende Inhaber wirkt und schafft in seinem Reich entspannt, leicht und lächelnd. Die Beiden jungen Leute leben und lieben ihr Lokal.Das Frühstück führte zurück aus der Völlerei zur Herzlichkeit, Wünsche wurden abgefragt und ohne Umschweife erfüllt. Wir wollen wieder kommen. Als kleines aber feines Refugium bleibt der Ort bei uns auf jeden Fall gespeichert.Harald und David"
