"It was a good surprise to find here in Oahu a restaurant in Puerto Rica. We're tired? Junk? Food and we were in desperate need for some rice and beans cooked the right way. We drove an hour to get a taste of home and it was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the portions were right. Service was exceptional and I love the outdoor seating area. Give them a look, you won't be disappointed."

"The absolutely best banana pancakes that I had for breakfast! her loco moco was a great ratio of iron to gravy. the breakfast was so on the spot, we returned to lunch to order the kalua pork tacos. they had me so concentrated on eating, I put the fork and began to eat in my mouth with my fingerings, rooting back to my island. the customer service was great, the fastness of the service was fast and the chefs seemed happy to serve, eating they grew up. to complete it excellent food for the price. I would recommend spinners to anyone looking for a large local kitchen on a budget."

"My daughter wanted some shave ice and I needed an ice cream break (mmm Kona coffee) so we came through this awesome little shop! Great selection of flavors and service was very friendly. "Local place that my family and I used to come to all the time over the span of four years, so it pains me to be writing this. But it really goes to show how one experience can make or break a place. The food was never anything to write home about, but it always hit the craving for when we wanted Asian food locally. The service has never been the best but it 's understandable since they 're always understaffed and the place looks run down. Our most recent visit this weekend however, was especially unfavorable. We were extremely disappointed with how the manager conducted himself and represented the establishment. (Apparently he 's only here on weekends we 're regulars during the weekday. As usual, we had to grab our own menus and sit ourselves (which was the norm for us here . Then, it took longer than normal for someone to get our orders, so my mom went up front to say okay, ready! (English is not her first language, so she has a very heavy accent In which I think it came out sounding like hey lady! to the waitress, which was already a misunderstanding and we completely understand if the waitress did not wish to serve us (since it came off as rude . What we don 't appreciate is 1. The waitresses ' constant side eye and 2. The manager deciding to not offer any understanding (since it was all a misunderstanding . He decided to let us know about the waitress 's complaint without hearing us out. I 'm not sure what informing us was supposed to accomplish but as the manager, I believed he should have taken the employee 's concern into account and handled the whole situation with more grace and understanding (e.g. tend to us himself or have someone else do it without us letting us know why . I 'm not sure what informing us accomplished, as now we have a bad perception of the establishment and will not be returning for the foreseeable future."
