"Greens baby is a little gem of a restaurant close to the castle in Matsue City. They try their best to be unique and to also offer foreign dishes as well as healthy meals. I frequent this restaurant for two things: burritos and tacos (everyone who lives here knows that finding Mexican food in this area is close to impossible). Honestly, the taste isn 't perfect. When I first tasted their burritos I said to myself, these things are too healthy! Not enough 'unhealthiness! They 're not real burritos! , But the taste had grown on me since then. The atmosphere is really nice. I 've never been here during rush hour, so I don 't know how packed it gets. Parking is out of the way, and asking the main street. But it 's not too far as to be inconvenient. Plus, it 's free. The restroom is clean, but the ceiling is a little low. Prices are reasonable and the size is good. Maybe I 've been in Japan too long, but the burritos filled me up well enough so that I feel good and no longer hungry (but not American sized full, of course). They also take credit card so another plus."

"We very much enjoyed the great French inspired food and sake/beer here, though the French wine offerings looked extensive and a bit eclectic, too. Don't let the Google photo deceive you. This charming place is two doors to the left of the red and white eatery pictured, up a flight of gray green stairs. The charcoal grilled duck breast, imported from France, was stunning and the local wild boar was satisfying, too. Wine might have been a better pairing. We missed the appetizer set on the menu with home made ham, pate etc. It looked great. It's not fast food. Take your time and savour the experience. The lady who served us recommended some great sake pairings. Don't miss it."

"Great selection of local seafood. We had a couple of tasty dishes never seen before. Sashimi moriawase had excellent fish some rare fish like kue/九絵. (longtooth grouper) Great selection of local sake Kirin on tap!!! All staff was friendly helpful. Only the seating could have been a bit better; try to ask for first floor!!!"
