"After exploring Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls, I welcomed this place as a break from the heat on the small Main Street. For a small unassuming place, the seating on the water, the great beer options, the service, and the food were fantastic. What was intended as a quick beer stop ended up being an enjoyable and relaxing meal watching groups gather in the river upstream. You'll appreciate this stop!"

"Great staff and our trip were very pleasant. Bed was comfortable and I didn't wake up with back pain. Terry was very friendly and friendly. We were late (by hours), but Terry was there to welcome us as soon as we arrived. Very accommodating and we will visit again soon! The room seemed recently renovated. Near the city and I definitely for anyone visiting the area."

"We came from outside of Charlotte for Christmas, second time to the Lake House. We sat at the bar and Destiny was our bartender. She was absolutely amazing. So fun to chat with, food was great, drinks were perfect. Absolutely recommend!!"

"Just because they have a good intention does not mean that they can expect an incredible meal, but let me tell them to legend on the lake, do not disappoint! eating here is phenomenal, the hot wings are incredible and cooked for perfection. the pulpits were delicious and soft, the chili was a sweet chili and absolutely delightful. I had the caesar salat with tasty salmon and the dressings are all made in the house. to finish everything, kathy our server were absolutely fantastic. I write this review, as I sit here before I started thinking dessert, I ordered the head down to pine cake! I'm sure it'll be skumbling."

"Awesome spot after a hike. Direct access to the river where you can dip your toes or your dogs paws while enjoying some legit brews and tasty bbq and look up at Chimney Rock. I got the pulled pork sandwich and I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meat. It was really juicy on an awesome brioche bun. Come hang out!"
