"The cocktails here were exceptional. Sort of a throw back to some drink recipes of the 1920s and 30s but with a few modern twists. This venue has class and charm. Bourbon selection is as it should be with a few hidden surprises. All the bar eats were tasty. As their name suggests, they deliberately destroyed any chance of this becoming a Jack Coke establishment. Bravo."

"This is a pretty cool bar with really good beer on tap. They had belchin’ beaver’s peanut butter stout and Mother Earth’s cali creamin vanilla ale when I was there—2 of my favorite beers. It’s really dark inside but very aesthetically pleasing. There’s a lot of pool tables but I didn’t play so I can’t review that. You can sit at the bar or you can sit on the sofas. You can even pick your own music using their jukebox. The staff members are very nice and there’s street parking outside."
