"This is what the rest of Switzerland is missing, a real cafe with a great atmosphere and light food options. I regreted already eating lunch when I popped in for a drink after a hike. The food looked great. I enjoyed a homemade ice tea and brownie."

"The room was small and oddly shaped but fairly well equipped, no minibar or coffee making facilities though. Spa and gym area was nice enough although very busy and there were no seats available. Breakfast was great. Excellent location in Davos, easy walking distance to most things. The main let-down was that there was live music in the bar making it impossible to be served, waited twenty mins before going to buy drinks from a local supermarket and sitting in our room... we did let reception know we were struggling but they didn't help. It felt wrong that residents had nowhere to sit and a big part of the appeal when booking had been the bar and restaurant which we didn't get to enjoy. Also, weirdly they deactivate room access before checkout, I went to the gift shop and then couldn't get back in to get my bags, a lady across the hall was trapped in the corridor wearing just her robe! Had to queue up for ten minutes with people checking out to get my key reactivated!"

"Friday night 7.30pm meant waiting a few minutes at the bar for our table. Gave us a chance to look at the menus and have an aperitif. Table came quicker than expected and order was taken straight away and food was quickly delivered. No exaggeration to say this is the best pizza I have ever eaten and I have eaten a few :-) Its all about the base! Cant fault the attentiveness of the staff despite the place being heaving! We will be coming back as soon as we are back in Davos."
