"This criticism with cordial greeting to Simone bwz. “Mone” – always grateful for a good guest tip! Finally, a meeting with our friends, the Saarschmeckers. This time we went for the whole: not only sneak together, but also subsequent evening program! To this we dragged the Saarschmeckers short hand with: Magie-Künstler and abdominal speaker Enzo Lorenzo [here link] stood on stage with his progamm belly mash. This brought a very early dinner, the opening hours should be before 18.00 to not hurry. Saarschmecker assured me: In the “El Greco” it tastes you! My statement for years: “Greek is not my thing”. The conversion and internal arrival took their course... I accepted the telephone table reservation – very friendly, the Lord at the end of the line! Service: My husband and I arrived a few minutes before the Saarschmeckers. Friendly welcome by the boss. He brought us into the bright semi-circular bright room and pointed to the reserved table. He was attentive and very friendly. We have already ordered 1 bottle of mineral water and stowed on the map until the arrival of the Saarschmecker. We were served very friendly and attentive in the evening. The head of the house was supported by female staff. The restaurant is quickly filled – beautiful and a good sign. Only the cleaning of the plates after the main course had something to wait. That was probably the time when most guests arrived. Since we had another event, we paid shortly after 7:00. Here is a very positive resolution: in short, the division of our “Zeche”, both couples were delivered a separately printed cash document. Food and drink: A bottle of mineral water, 0.75 l to 4.40 €. I chose the only dry white wine from the beverage card: Kleoni, the sister of the Egyptian Cleopatra? Maybe she makes me more beautiful, younger and apart? So a carafe ordered 0.25 l to 3.50 € and... it was better than any wine on the Italian standard. To my optics: Unfortunately my smooth misinterpretation or I would have had to drink more! My husband is brave: “Retsina is typical Greek!” Also ordered a carafe 0.25 l to € 3.50. It is a completely different taste, this resined wine. But in this case, our rare Greek food and something else fits. Next time I take Retsina! The kitchen was greeted as a compulsory ouzo. Almost 15 years ago, with my best friend on Rhodes, the service also on the healing Ouzo effect: Ouzo helps against all... after 3 other Ouzo the next advice Too much Ouzo make thick head the next morning. We assured her we were using Peel Girls! Yeah, the years are over. Back to Birkenfeld: I was very hard at the appetizers. All cold appetizers meatless – my el dorado! Without “Greek” experience I loved the fish rogen cream Taramas, from which I have already read with our ranking Greek expert. Ask me better. If Greek, then the full dose: mixed appetizer with Tzaziki, Taramas, Dolmadakia, Tirosalata, Calamares Salat, Olives and Peperoni at € 8.20. My fellow fighters assured me before they help me just snore! The served dish was lovingly dressed s. Photo and delicious! At least Taramas convinced me that there was little taste or I had a wrong idea. Well, I didn't choose this as the only appetizer. The delicate Calamares and Triosalata piquant sheep cheese cream were my best taste. Fresh baguette was served. A lush appetizer and I was grateful to the helpers. My husband chose the garlic bread to € 3.80. 5 discs, similar to Bruchetta. Unfortunately something softens, but also good. The main foods: My choice: The fish plate with seed fillet, 2 Sampi times a clear announcement and Calamares rings. In addition, homemade Remoulade sauce, salad and rice at €16.20. I exchange the supplementary salad for expert advice from Saarschmeckerin in the Greek peasant salad. No problem, the small difference of € 1.60 was shown on the cash deposit. Everything tasted really good. Warm served, beautifully dressed. The homemade Remoulade really homemade, fish seafood juicy and delicate. The fine fish fillet hid no chance under Calamares and Scampi, I found it! Add tomato rice. The peasant salad with fresh ingredients and well lubricated vinegar oil dressing. My husband took the Sampi with frits and add salad to € 17,90. He is also very satisfied with his choice. The additional salad with light yogurt dressing. Our dishes served plates for the waste and lemon towels to clean your fingers. Pros: There are many dishes on the homepage. No eyewitnesses: You will also be served on site appetizing! Ambience: Clean, well maintained with typical Greek elements. Not overloaded, tables covered. Fresh flower, wind light, salt and pepper, paper napkins with Greek background course. Outside there are also beautiful places. Unfortunately it was too cool for us. The restaurant is flattering, but also the toilets without the disabled toilets. Toilets are also very clean, well ventilated, changing table for the little ones is ready. Various corns were laminated. All right. Conclusion: I am converted: Greek goes! Where are you? We know that now and certainly not the last time in El Greco. In the following evening program the salmon muscles were demanded and this helped the filled body especially my and of course the soul. It was beautiful!"
