"Appalling service. I called to order a meal for collection. Took ages to get through and when I did I was asked to ‘ hold a minute’ . I spent just over 10 minutes listening to people taking orders then they hung up on me! Have had take out from there before but I will not be back. Would give zero stars if I could."

"Six of us booked for a NY girls catch up and all great. All food was excellent, good menu choices additional specials on board. Good cup of coffee to finish off Lovely wee restaurant with good service, food friendly staff...Will definitely be back would recommend."

"Stayed for 3 nights b&b, great breakfast choice, everything cooked to perfection and piping hot, had dinner on 2 evenings, massive portions of lovely food , if ever in area again this would be my go to place"

"The Loft was recommended and I'm so glad that we went. Such a lovely, rustic place, with a really nice atmosphere. We recieved a very friendly welcome and we're seated right away. The girl who served us was friendly and helpful and took our order as soon as we were ready. The drinks came quickly and didn't take long for the food. We both had the ploughman's, which was just beautiful. Large portions, with top quality food. The home baked ham was delicious, as was the sweet chutney. The oatcakes were homemade and so delicious. When we left we took home s couple of cakes too, as the bakery was irresistible! We'll definitely be back!"

"First time back to the Waterside after a few years and it did not disappoint. A warm welcome and a super enthusiastic owner added real value to the occasion. The food was super and well priced. The log fired added the warmth to the snow outside. Will definitely return."

"Nice location with plenty of roadside parking. Food authentic Italian very tasty. Try and get a seat in front part we were sat in a corridor passed by staff as they went to the kitchen."

"Really disappointing. Arrived in 5 minutes. 2 courses involved beef. The beef was disgusting, like rubber. Phoned to tell them and customer service was shocking. Shame"
