"Mit sehr guten Bewertungen muss man ja vorsichtig sein - nicht dass der Andrang in einem Lokal allzu groß wird ;-)Beim "Wastlwirt" ist dies wohl - der etwas abgelegenen Lage an der Bundesstrasse geschuldet - nicht zu befürchten. Zu Mittag war das Lokal dennoch sehr gut besucht, vielleicht hat aber auch das Mittagsmenü gelockt. Bereits an der Tür begrüßt einen eine Tafel mit dem Tagesangebot: Suppe, Schweinebraten und Salat für EUR 7,50. Normal passt man bei einem derart günstigen Preis seine Erwartungshaltung nach unten an, doch hier ist dies nicht notwendig!Zur Suppe: definitiv hausgemacht, sehr gut, schnell serviert!Der Salat: frisch, mehr als ausreichend für einen Beilagensalat und ein zu 99 % hausgemachtes Dressing das ebenso überzeugen konnte.Das Wichtigste - der Hauptgang: sehr gute Qualität beim Fleisch, Knödel und Kartoffel dazu und ausreichend Bratensaft.Das Restaurant selbst hat einen ländlich-rustikalen Charme, die Einrichtung ist älter, aber definitiv noch kein "Retro-Designobjekt". Wer Fine Dining oder ein elegantes Restaurant sucht, möge besser ein paar KM weiter Richtung Schärding fahren, wer gerne gut und günstig isst sowie einen freundlichen Service zu schätzen weiß, ist hier goldrichtig!Fazit: Top-Landgasthaus, günstige Preise & gutes Essen!"
