"Solid pub fare! Nice menu! Be clear on your order. They are the only provider in the village in Monday and Tuesday so please be patient and kind. Tip well, they are over worked. As for the food and drink, amazing and well processed. The patio is so nice, would be great if the county dropped off a few Blockades. The owner is so proud of this place. They should be!!!"

"This place is disgusting. Cost was 100.00 per night. The room I was it was awful. Carpets were filthy with a lot of spots on it. The bathroom sink had chips in it and they were rusted. Blinds didnt work. Every thing had a layer...of dust on it. No radio or clock. Fire dector wasn't lit up and the dust grime on the carbon dioxide dector had so much grime on it I am sure it it wasn't in working. Emergency exits were not lit up. All the carpets in the halls we very dirty. Fire code was broken with a fold up bed at the bottom of the stairs and in the way of the exit door. A little room over looking the lake had a filthy chair with a pail next to it with roof leaking water. Could smell mould every where. Bed was clean, but mattress was not good. Also dont know how old the pillows were. There was no way I was going to check them under the pillow cases. Don't stay there. The island is beautiful just find another place."

"Beautiful view on the water. Menu is limited. I had the chicken burger w/ fries and it was good but it was served without any sauce in it. Had to ask for some. Service is not quick. Lots of spider webs. Should be regularly"

"I've visited it twice but, for my taste and budget, they are not cheap. but the ambiance and quality are good in a wonderful outdoor setting while you wait for a ferry or are a new visitor to the Island. I think this little cafe...is a wonderful addition to the Main Street."

"It was the only food outlet open. Apart from the beaver tails there were other snack foods available. It was really popular. and had a constant stream of customers. Everything was freshly prepared so a small wait was required ,but worth it."

"Pros: Nice venue inside for wedding reception and had a nice grass area outside for the wedding ceremony. Service was very good and staff was nice/attentive. I would rate this place as 9/10 for service and venue.Cons: Decor and table settings was basic. It was a bit crowded inside and not much room to dance or move around as the hall inside is quiet small. The wedding I went in May had around 15-20 tables total. The food had small portions and we felt there was not enough food at the wedding we went to. The salad was very good, steak/salmon was well cooked but it got ruined by the bad sauce that they used. It made the salmon/steak taste really weird. The dessert was ok...Overall I would give this place 6 to 7 out of 10 for food. I heard the alcohol packages here are really pricey but the food package is cheap at only $50-60/plate. So best to bring in your own alcohol if you can. The wedding we went to had cash bar which kinda sucks as you had to pay $6 per drinks (pricey). Better to bring your own wine & beer so the guests can drink more and don't have to pay since they are already coming to your wedding and bringing gifts."
