"We were there with the family (2 kids, 2 adults). The prices were more than expected, on the other hand, the food tasted GREAT. We were a little surprised with the portion of vegetables as compared to the protein on the plate. For example, I ordered the Lamp medallions. I got 3 perfectly cooked medallions, and only got three pieces of asparagus to go with it. There was a puree on the plate, but I was expecting more. This was about $28. We also had the children chicken fingers, and unfortunately found them a little dry, but they came with a pile of broccoli, and several potato (6-7) wedges. Wine by the glass was $12, and Beer was $9 a glass (on tap). I found the ambience, and location would lead me to believe that this would be a smaller family diner, but the price point was more of an up-scale dinning. The new item on the menu was a melon salad. It was fabulous, to the point were we had to ask for bread to finish off the sauce. Serving all meals with slices of baguette would be even better (shouldn't have to ask for it). I believe that this will help people finish of the sauce (best part of great meals). My son asked for a bowl of fresh fruit, it wasn't on the menu. They made it up for us, which is always nice to see the chef doing something on the fly for their guests. Server was kinds and attentive, but didn't hover. Great location for a date nite, or somewhere a little more quiet."

"My wife and I had the Halibut fish & chips which is a premium cost at $11.99 but we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The light batter on the fish was perfect. The two pieces of fish are somewhat smaller than those served to other customers who probably had the cheaper whitefish. The Lunch Special at $5.59 would likely be a great deal. It was moderately busy on Thursday night and our waiter said the adjacent 2 year road construction is really reducing their business. They have plenty of parking and still easy to get in and out. Our first time there as we were visiting at the nearby condo. We will definitely return."
