"Nice place, nice pub! I recommend chicken wings, ribs raised and smoke meat. The wings and ribs sauce were delicious. Only flat, we were told that the plate for two would be huge, which is not the case. my chum could have eaten it alone and he doesn't eat so much of it."

"Ate twice at the Manoir whilst on holiday in the Quebec region. On the first occasion the restaurant was quiet and both food and service were excellent. As a result we booked for another evening. On booking we were told there was a large party booked in, so we agreed a time for a table which would accommodate us all. The restaurant was busy when we arrived, we chose our food and were reasonably quickly served the starters, which we ate and enjoyed. We then waited for the plates to be cleared. And waited. And waited. We were topped up with fresh water, but still the plates weren't cleared. No one apologised for the delay. Eventually the plates were taken and our main course was served. One was not as ordered. Another didn't arrive with the rest. It finally came and the recipient was disappointed with her choice. However the other 3 mains were delicious - I can recommend the Aberdeen Angus steak. On the whole, I thought the food good and not overpriced for its quality; I felt let down by the service and the attitude of one of the male staff in particular, who told us we had been given good service when we decided to reduce the tip accordingly- we are from Europe, and the customers decide what is good service, not the staff. We probably would choose not to leave a tip at all in Europe. On the positive side, the owners apologised and gave us a free drink to compensate. Shame though that it happened at all - a few words earlier apologising for the delay between courses would have solved the problem at the outset. Perhaps some staff training required."

"Stayed here while working at the Becancour Equestrian Centre. Rooms are clean and well appointed. There is a fridge and coffee maker in each room. Micro and toaster in the hallway. A kettle and Tea bags would be a nice addition for those tea drinkers like me! Easy access to Trois Riviers and just off the main highway but in a quaint rural village. Pub food available in adjacent bar. I recommend the Salade Italian"

"The waitress was quick to give me a menu and take my drink order. She checked back with me regularly. Food had great portions and was tasty."
