"We were staying in Gros Morne Cabins and wanted to cook supper in one night. Walked two minutes down the road and talked to the fisherman at Harbour Seafood about what to get. We ended up with a pound and a half of fresh halibut for $10. Sautéed it with garlic butter and salt and pepper and it was one of the best meals of our trip!"

"First review in English! We found the restaurant by accident aftert wandering past and noticing the cosy looking and smart interior. Booked for lunch and were glad we did as the lovely room was full when we arrived. Lunch is a limited formulaire with no choice (please be warned). We explained that Wendy does not eat meat but is happy with fish. Both the starter and main were adapted to suit and were brilliant no mean feat for the chef who works alone in a small open kitchen. When glancing into the kitchen to watch his work I was greeted with a smile from a man happy at his metier! In summary Warm friendly,happy service; great choice of wines by the glass to match the food; perfectly cooked and seasoned dishes; Incredibly reasonable bill. We have already booked our next visit for dinner. A great find!"
