"Food was great and the service was awesome. So good I had the rest for lunch the next day!Parking: Parking however plentiful was sketchy. While I was dining someone had placed a brick in front of my front tire. l ran over it when I pulled out. I did not stop though I drove around the block to check and see what it was. Not sure what the motivation or plan was, but be aware when parking.!!!"

"I was there with my sister a few years ago. The food and service was amazing and fabulous. So after the restrictions of Covid lifted, we planned a well needed getaway to BC (from Alberta) around going back to the Colander for another treat to...their fabulous Italian cuisine. While understanding the Covid Restrictions were tough on businesses and restaurant's, I felt I could do no favors by smoozing my comments. The food (spaghetti sauce and meatballs) was tasteless and very disappointing to the point, i will not be back. The chicken was also tasteless and dry. My hopes in this review and others I have read is to allow the owners managers to go back to previous recipe's so the Restaurant can return to it's glor and continue serving for many years to come. ."

"I was sad to see all of the little business in the area disappear of the past three years but The Refinery is a knock out place in this downtown area for food and very nice beer. "Have come here many times as it is close to the hotel. This trip the service was better. The negative was the ketchup dispensers were empty and there was a lot of little fungus gnats or fruit flies around everything. The station was quite dirty which is probably why. Otherwise food was typical McD's."
